General information

MODEL UNITED NATIONS ASSEMBLY” (MUNA), an academic simulation of the activities of the United Nations body, particularly the General Assembly and its committees and the Security Council. Participants (Delegates) assume roles of ambassadorial status of Member States to the United Nations and consider, at the minimum, five (5) items from the UN sytems’s vast agenda. The role-playing, where participants will act as delegates of the country they will represent, basically provides our youth a greater undertstanding of international and global issues, and the complexities of the international systems. It is a pleasure to witness the youth from various local, foreign and international schools debate on security, political, human rights, environment and youth issues as they build consensus, resolve conflicts and provide solutions in an atmosphere of compromise and cooperation.

Model United Nations Assembly Philippines has at least 200 annual delegates from both local and international schools all over Philippines.
