Isang masayang buwan at araw ng mga kababaihan!

Mula sa ating mga Ina, mga Lola, at mga Ate, hanggang sa lahat ng kababaihang patuloy na nakikibaka at lumalaban nang patas sa buhay—ang pagsaludo na ito ay para sa inyo.

Ang araw na ito ay sadyang napakahalaga upang ipagdiwang ang lakas, kontribusyon, at pakikipaglaban ng bawat babae; lalo na sa mga aspetong pinipili silang maliitin at isantabi ang kanilang kakayahan. Ang isang babae ay hindi "babae lamang," kundi isang indibidwal na may malawak na kakayahan at angking galing na kinikilala na noong unang panahon pa lamang.

Ito rin ang araw na nagpapaalala na ang mga babae ay hindi lamang isang imahe, pigura, o bahagi ng imahinasyon, kundi tunay na representasyon ng lakas, pag-aalaga, at pakikiisa. Samahan natin silang ipagdiwang at ipaglaban ang tama at pagkakapantay-pantay saan mang sulok ng mundo.

Sapagkat ang babaeng matapang ay hindi lamang lumalaban para sa sarili—siya ay lumalaban para sa lahat.

𝐒𝐁𝐍𝐞𝐰 | NSTP faculty, together with SBNU and NU ComEx, held the 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮: ‘𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗻’ on January 28, 2026, at NU Mendiola. This recreational program immersed students in fun yet educational activities that strengthened their awareness and put into action their understanding of community engagement, social responsibility, and disaster preparedness.

Sa isang mahabang talakayan at diskusyong maihahalintulad sa isang sarswela, kailan nga ba matatapos ang ganitong uri ng sistema?
Isang siklong paulit-ulit na umiikot, nagsisimula sa mga pangakong maghahatid ng kaginhawaan ngunit nauuwi sa pagkukulang at katiwalian. Habang tumatagal ang argumento, dumarami ang mga Pilipinong naaapektuhan at nakararanas ng hagupit ng panahon.

Mga proyektong dapat sana ay nagpoprotekta sa mamamayan, ngayo’y nagiging dahilan ng higit na panganib sa nakararami.
Sa konteksto ng sarswela, saang pahina matatagpuan ang hustisyang inaasam ng mga naaping bida? Hustisyang dapat humusga sa mga antagonistang nagbabalat-kayo upang linlangin ang mga walang kalaban-labang mamamayan.

Bilang mga mamamayan ng bansa, taglay natin ang kapangyarihang tapusin ang ganitong uri ng palabas. Isama sa ating diyalogo ang panatang lalabanan ang katiwalian, para sa bayan at para sa kinabukasan.

A powerful tropical cyclone has devastated several areas across the Philippines, leaving countless families in need of urgent help. The disaster was worsened by poor flood control systems, destroying homes and claiming the lives of both people and animals.

🙏 Let’s us pray for our fellow affected Filipinos, as well as the volunteers and rescuers who continue to risk their lives to help and save others. Let’s also extend a helping hand through donation drives and relief efforts (see picture below).

If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing information on how to help can already make a big difference. 🧡

The Philippine Red Cross appeals to your kind hearts to help us help others more. Based on data from the evacuation centers, there are 50,118 families affected. This number translates to 174,882 individuals who are in dire need of help.
