Neil Kyle Maniquis shines bright capturing the Gold Medal at the First Nuclear Science Olympiad in Clark City, Pampanga, held from July 31 to August 7, 2024. A proud achievement under the guidance of Mr. Ferdinand S. Bautista and Dr. Kristine Marie Romallosa Dean.

It’s really not that complicated. 10 years ago, under the Department Order No. 72, s. 2003, the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) collaborated to form the only recognized co-curricular environmental club or organization in schools.

Mother Earth said 🌱 stop, no more, you’ll just upset me 🌱 so delegations all over the country took action and found a resolution by establishing 🏫 a school-based co-curricular organization.

What was previously Youth Environment Summer (YES) Camp 🍃 is now the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization or YES-O 🦉

From Mother Earth’s 🌏 Let me die alone here, be my guest 🪵 When it’s too late you’ll see, just wait 🌡️ a platform for the youth to take actions and movements in the care and conservation of nature is created. Giving opportunities ✨ to address all environmental issues and concerns with effective results for future generations. ♻️

Mother’s right here, Mother will protect you 💚 and with YES-O, we also give back the protection that Mother Earth gives us 🏞️
