WHO IS YOUR PRESIDENT?
As the May 9 polls approaches, the Filipino people have to decide on who among the 10 aspiring presidents would they like to lead the country in the next six years.
Deciding on who to vote for? Why not check the candidates' stance on one of the pressing, yet, almost always neglected, topics in today's society - the environment. Often missed to be put in the platform of aspiring presidents, yet, they claim that they have plans for the welfare of the environment.
Reviewing their recent statements from interviews and press releases, PNU Votetante gathered the stance on the environmental issues of the leading six presidentiable candidates.
Who among them is the best president for the environment?

In just about two months, President Rodrigo Duterte's term comes to a close, and while there are a lot of ways to evaluate his administration, let's examine it through the lens of one of the most pressing, yet, almost always neglected, issues in today's society - the environment.
Spanning the six years of the Duterte administration, PNU Votetante gathered the different issues faced, plans drafted, and actions made by his administration that concern the environment.
Was the Duterte administration environment-friendly or a culprit of environmental harm? Will his successor be relieved from or inherit environmental problems that they must deal with?

The future is coming—and you can be part of the conversation!
Participate in a discussion led by Mr. Agustin Martin G. Rodriguez, a prominent professor of philosophy at Ateneo de Manila University and author of several books on governance, poverty, development, Philippine society, and ecology, about the philosophical foundations of our presidential candidates in the upcoming election. This is a invaluable opportunity to learn more about the issues at hand and what you can do to help our country make the best decision for its future.
With the help of Mr. Rodriguez, we will be learning more about the presidential candidates' future agenda and credentials through a philosophical lens. He will be talking about Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, the incumbent mayor of the City of Manila, Panfilo "Ping" Lacson, who has served in the legislative and executive branches of the government for over 40 years, and Maria Leonor "Leni" Gerona Robredo, the Philippines' current Vice President, who also started her anti-poverty program during her term, Angat Buhay.
To join us tomorrow and on April 30, don't hesitate to register through the link below, and together, let us review the stances and policies of the presidential candidates before deciding the fate of the country for the next 6 years.
