No one knows what is bound to happen nor the whispers of tomorrow. However, it was the persistence to dance with uncertainty. To be courageous and grounded to be in the moment. And with so much passion and ambition, wrote a sonnet of passion and ambition. A sonnet authentically owned.

𝐃𝐋𝐀 𝐒𝐂 ’25 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫. But the ignited catalyst and legacy built are the anchor for continued pursuit. Hence, these are the treasures carried back to home. Every effort poured into building this community became a testament to dedication, growth, and fulfillment. 🐦‍🔥 ✨

A chapter had ended and the gratitude lingers softly. However, the legacy made had gone with the wind to embark on permanence.

𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀!

Filipinos are resilient, persevering, and hopeful. We rise above waters and overcome the struggles we are faced with, we have a thick skin and brave face, we fight. But the question is, until when are we going to fight these uncontrollable odds and call our suffering as perseverance instead of injustice? Until when will we endure waters that drown our streets, and the corrupt system to poison our land? 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗜𝗦 𝗘𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛.

As an organization located within Intramuros, whenever strong winds and heavy rains pour down, it fills us with anxiety, worry, and fear of what may happen when it continues. We take precautions and pray that we will arrive at our houses safe and sound. And in the fortitude of Intramuros, there are children, men, and women who are enduring the rain with no roof over their heads. Their terror and horror are being whispered to prayers and in hopes faith will save them.

The Department of Liberal Arts Student Council (DLA - SC) stands with Filipino people and fights for the justice that we deserve. We rally behind the call to END CORRUPTION in our government at Luneta, Rizal Park, Manila on September 21, 2025 at 9AM.

Filipinos have always been resilient, persevering, hopeful, and brave. We fight for what is right, and now, we fight for what is ours. We fight for the people we love, for our country, and for us, Filipinos, that deserve better. We deserve MORE.

In our history we champion as a nation due to our collective spirits. Our ancestors stood with courage. We must stand for the Filipinos. 𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙪𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠.

Therefore, the EDSA People Power Monument or “TRILLION PESO MARCH” happening on the same day at 2PM calls for accountability of the government.

Hear the pain and fury of the nation being stolen upon. The nation who are hellbent for survival. We are not to endure the incompetence. But, We, the Filipinos, come as one and demand what is rightfully ours.

We are the Department of Liberal Arts Student Council, standing with Filipinos in solidarity to call for a better government system.

We are here not to wear colors for a namesake. We are here to be seen. Enough is enough.
