Last May 2, officers and representatives of the College of Arts and Sciences - Association of Graduating Students together with every Program AGS gathered for the very first General Assembly officially held at Function Hall, 5th Floor, CEAFA Building to discuss key plans and initiatives for the year. 🏛️📌

The assembly centered on important agenda points, including preparations for the upcoming Graduation Ball—where proposed themes, potential venues, budget allocations, and overall feasibility were carefully explored to ensure a memorable and well-executed event. 💃🎭

In addition, the body introduced and discussed prospective Legacy Projects aimed at creating a lasting impact for CAS students. These include both student-centered initiatives and income-generating projects (IGPs) that will contribute to the organization’s sustainability and long-term growth. 🌱📊

Updates and initial plans regarding graduation details were also presented, ensuring that graduating students are well-guided and prepared for this significant milestone. 🎓✨

Through collaborative dialogue and shared commitment, this general assembly set the tone for purposeful planning and unified action. This paves the way for meaningful programs and successful events in the months ahead. 🤝💼

Together, we move forward with vision, dedication, and service for the CAS community. 💛✨

Last February 27, 2026, graduating students from the College of Arts and Sciences, in collaboration with the College of Criminal Justice Education, successfully gathered for the OJT-themed seminar series entitled 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝟏𝟎𝟏 held at the CAS 4th Floor (Rooms 402 & 406) and via Zoom Conference. 🛣️💯

With the theme “𝐸𝑚𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑓𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑠: 𝐵𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐶𝑜𝑚𝑝𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐶𝒉𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡𝒉𝑒 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑒,” the seminar series became a meaningful bridge from classroom learning to real-world experience. Words with such conviction written by a gentle soul; a soul that even to the end, with such strong resolve and belief, even in times of personal adversity, showed up and faced them all.

With humble acceptance of God's will, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our beloved CAS-Mates, 𝗝𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗔 𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗔, whose spirit will forever echo in our hearts.

The interment service will be held at 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟮 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗼, 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗿, 𝟰𝟰𝟬𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟮 𝗣𝗠.

In lieu of flowers and physical presence, donations in Jean's Memory can be made, as conveyance of support to the beareaved.
