Enrollment for incoming grade 8, 9, and 10 students for S.Y. 2020-2021 will be fully processed online through the MyUSTe JHS Student Portal where the students will have to input their respective 10-digit ID numbers and password credentials. Further enrollment instructions and procedures will also be provided in the portal.

Before this day ends, let us celebrate the feast day of our beloved Patron Saint. ✨🙏

Prayer for Saint Bede the Venerable:

St. Bede, born in England to a noble family and raised in a monastery, you became a Benedictine as a teenager. There was a plague that broke out in the monastery, and only yourself and your mentor survived to sing the offices. You were made a deacon at nineteen and a priest at thirty. You wrote over sixty books, the most famous being The Ecclesiastical History of the English People. You were very well learned, knowledgeable in natural philosophy, Aristotle, astronomy, arithmetic, grammar, ecclesiastical history, the lives of the saints and scripture, and your writing reflect this knowledge. You were widely considered a saint even while you were living, and bishops ordered your writings to be read in churches. You died after completing your last work, a commentary on Matthew, with a Glory be on your lips.

St. Bede, you were a major influence on Western thought and religion. Pray for theologians and scholars today, that they may open the scriptures to everyone and help save souls. St. Bede, you made popular the dating method of using Our Lord’s birth as year one, and for coming up with the Easter cycle. Pray for all those who scorn to use BC and AD in the way they have always been used, but still go by that measurement of time. St. Bede, you were made a Doctor of the Church and were called The Venerable shortly after your death. Pray that we may grow in our relationship with the Lord. Amen.
