We’ve built CHAPLIN with a mission to provide schools and educators an alternative tool to deliver distance learning. One that is social, supervised, and lightweight. The Philippines remains to be the social media capital of Asia and perhaps there is no other platform Filipinos know how to use best other than Facebook itself. As such, we have capitalized on familiar social media concepts for our learning management platform. Furthermore, we noticed how difficult it is to put order in video-conferencing sessions (and how people get disconnected every now and then), so we have devised an alternative approach at conducting “live” sessions with limited connectivity.
