Honestly, when I first decided to resign from my corporate job to try and do freelancing works, I am more scared than confident. I don't have any knowledge on how homebased jobs work nor I am familiar with the process and the online tools used however I have decided not to let my fears get the better of me.

I took one baby steps at a time. I enrolled in an online freelancing class and consume wholeheartedly the knowledge that I can get to equipped me on my new adventure.

I am still a little fearful now but as they say, you are most courageous when you are still feeling scared but decided to move on despite everything.

Notice how bad news goes around so fast like a wild fire? That is because misery loves company and what better way to know people that you are miserable than by sharing it either verbally or through social media posts.

Same goes with our customer, the minute that they ended the call and they are still not satisfied with our answers or their issues are still not resolved then they would go around telling people what upsets them so that it will somehow alleviate their discontentment and unhappiness.

But it doesn't end there with an unhappy customer as any bad feedback from them may be detrimental to the company so we have to make sure that there are no stones left unturned with every customer engagement.

It has been a challenging and insightful week last week. I get to go out of my comfort zone and create my own blog.

Is it scary? Super! Especially when you don't know what to do anymore but I am so thankful to my online coach, Coach Grace for always being there and for all the feedback that you are giving for me to improve more.

Please follow me on my adventure, follow me on my blog!

Working from home has its own pros and cons but being able to comfortably deliver your job without having to go out the safety and comfort of your house is already a big blessing. Add the fact that you get to focus on your family and in my case, my furbabies and respond to all of your friend's query on the messaging system that you are using without having to worry about anything.

People always say to work smart...nah! I like working from home and it will be extra fun if you will work smart at home. :)

Right attitude is the main ingredient on every call that I make that is why I am sure to offer the following menu to my customers.

Oftentimes, we have clashes with our customer because we don't understand where they are coming from. We are focused on how to resolved the issue so that we can move on to our next customer that we oftentimes lose sight of how it is to be a human and not a robot.

This is my way to re-assess myself daily and to ensure that I fit my role as to adequately provide resolution from my heart.

Customer Service: Hardest Job in the World 20/02/2020

I was browsing through my Facebook feeds when one post got my full attention. The post happened to be a hate post against people working in the call center industry and how they are not equipped enough to find a more suitable job that is connected to their degree prompting them to just stay and work in the call center despite everything. Sometimes it is very hard to Wow a customer but you don't have to do magic or spell to make your conversation with the customer extra-ordinary. Just ensure to listen wholeheartedly! Listen not to react or answer but to know where the customer is coming from based on the issue that she has and for you to properly addressed it once it is your turn to talk. Do not overtalk the customer and let them vent out their frustrations. Remember, it is nothing personal, they just need a little help and they don't know where to get it or whom to get it from, that is why they are frustrated.
