Drug use defies all stereotypes in reality. These drugs are frequently abused at high rates in all racial, ethnic, social, regional, and gender distinctions.

According to estimates, 1.7 million Filipinos used hazardous drugs in the Philippines in 2019. In contrast, there were only 5,277 admissions to inpatient and outpatient institutions in the same year, excluding patients who received care through community-based initiatives.

With Hi-Five: Anti-Drug Awareness, the PLM College of Nursing aims to influence the public on the dangers of drug abuse with five (5) facts and considerations. Not only that, but we also work to eliminate the stigma against victims of drug abuse for a better environment to recovery and rehabilitation.

Ramadan, the holy month of fasting and prayer, ends with the three-day Eid al-Fitr celebration or the "Festival of Breaking Fast".

Muslims will observe the new crescent moon on this day, which falls on the tenth month of the Islamic calendar. It is observed on April 22nd of this year 2023, according to the Office of the Bangsamoro M***i

On the first day of Eid al-Fitr, a salat al-eid, or group prayer, is held in a mosque to commemorate the holiday. Muslims celebrate this holiday with feasts, gift-giving, parades, and other activities. Some parents give their kids money and new outfits for the joyous occasion, while others pay respects at the graves of their loved ones.
