𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 [02.04.26] | UE Manila Brings K-10 Alumni Together for One-Game Trophy Encounter

University of the East (UE) Manila Junior High School Department recently welcomed back alumni to the campus for a multi-batch reunion, featuring ‘A Trip Down Memory Lane’ campus tour, one-game trophy tournament, and engaging strand game booths, held last Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

The program opened with a welcome message delivered by Basic Education Principal Gerardo V. Venturina, which was followed by Assistant Principal Swisa E. Almeyda, who introduced the batches and presented an overview of the One-Game Trophy. The alumni joined the campus tour afterwards, which was led by SHS Strandboard volunteers before returning to Gym 5 to continue with the batch game.

Aside from the games, booths, and tour, this event served as an opportunity to reignite the bond among the K-10 alumni. Its aim was to sustain warrior spirit across generations, reconnect the past with the present, bring back familiar faces, celebrate journeys, and build a sense of continuity as the university plans to also include the SHS alumni in future batch reunions.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Ms. Nez Dela Cruz shared, “Everything was done last minute, but what amazed me most was how everyone came together with full hearts, hands, commitment, and teamwork. It wasn’t just fine, it was amazing.”

“I am truly grateful to the Junior Dawn students, members of the Student Council, the Strandboard Team, the MICC Team, and all of you in the SHS Committee who all made time, effort, and sacrifices to make this event successful. All of you gave up what should have been your rest day and that speaks volumes mga anak about your dedication.”
