With deep sorrow, the SSLG shares the sad news of the passing of our esteemed SCIENCE master teacher, Mr. Carlos Evangelista Del Rosario Jr. Mr. Del Rosario was a guiding light for his students, and though he has moved on to the next chapter, his legacy will forever shine bright. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends as they find strength during this difficult time.

The Science Department’s Robotics Club wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the parents, teachers, and friends who supported the team in achieving their goals. Your encouragement and belief in the team propelled them to victory in the competition.

Amidst the chaos, the truth will always prevail. Today, we carry the torch with a burning flame of truth as we proudly present to you the newspaper of The Torres Torch, the official English publication of Florentino Torres High School.

In a span of almost a year, the country and the world face a lot of triumphs and problems. The Torres Torch is here to serve as the voice of students to combat deceit.

The newspaper is filled with a lot of ups and downs and an inspiring story to tell. It's the testimony of collective effort and hardships.

The construction of the newspaper was led by Editor-in-Chief Zerah Kish C. Sulit, along with staffers who are connected with a mission to share the truth amidst the rampant fake news, and with the help of Mr. Julius Caesar E. Magno, the School Publication Adviser of The Torres Torch, and his student teacher, Mr. Jonas Shane Duque. The publication also extends its gratitude to the head teacher of the English Department, Marichu J. Hernandez.
