XO (Extraordinary) Mondays — Launching Tomorrow
Starting tomorrow, Monday, 06 October 2025, the School of Management & Information Technology (SMIT) will implement XO Mondays. A standing practice requiring all SMIT students to come in Business or Business Casual attire every first Monday of the month.
Why this matters: As a business school, we’re intentional about cultivating professional presence, personal branding, and executive discipline—the same standards you’ll be expected to uphold in the workplace.
Dress Code Highlights (quick guide):
Acceptable: Collared shirts/blouses, tailored slacks or business skirts, blazers/cardigans in neutral tones, closed formal shoes.
Avoid: Hoodies, denim/khaki/printed pants, sneakers/rubber shoes, sports socks, caps/bonnets, loud accessories.
Compliance: Please note that non-compliance may be subject to disciplinary action per the student handbook.
Let’s set the tone, look the part, and lead with professionalism—see you in your XO best tomorrow.
