The SSLG extends our appreciation to the DOE Oil Industry and Management Bureau and the LPG Marketer’s Association for bringing these helpful LPG safety lessons to our school. Learning how to stay safe at home matters, we are glad our students and teachers got to take part in it. We’ll keep supporting activities that guide Rectonians to be safer, smarter, and more aware: both in school and beyond. 🫡💙

Excited ang mga g**o, estudyante ng Claro M. Recto High School sa safety tips at learnings na dala ng DOE Oil Industry and Management Bureau at ng LPG Marketer’s Association.

Bilang bahagi ng National Energy Consciousness Month, layunin ng DOE at partner schools na maiuwi ng mga g**o at estudyante ang lahat na natutunan sa IEC sa kanilang mga tahanan.

In the midst of this devastation, we hold on to hope.

Let us take this moment to pray for the families and communities ravished by the storms. As well as to the responders and volunteers who work together to bring beauty from ashes.

Having a go-bag is an important part of preparing for any disaster. This is where the essential items that can help you stay safe, healthy, and ready during an emergency are kept.

Here are the things you should put in your go-bag to remain safe and prepared in times of disaster:

Drinking water (at least 3 liters per person)
Non-perishable food (canned goods, energy bars, biscuits)
Manual can opener
Extra clothes and undergarments
Sturdy shoes or slippers
Whistle (for signaling)
Flashlight with extra batteries
Power bank and charging cables
Multi-tool or small knife
Lighter or waterproof matches
