Event | The UE College of Education conducted the 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, & 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 Outreach Program at Barangay 257, Zone 23, District 2, Tondo, Manila today, May 14, 2026.

CEduc student volunteers led a dance warm-up, taught mathematics fundamentals, demonstrated proper handwashing, and conducted storytelling.

Through meaningful learning activities and community engagement, the outreach program aimed to inspire young learners while promoting health, wellness, and the value of education.

IN | March 2026 Licensure Examinations for Professional Teachers (LEPT) Results are out!

The University of the East (UE) College of Education produced three (3) new elementary teachers and 15 secondary teachers.

Event | The UE College of Education conducted the 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 Outreach Program at Barangay 339, Zone 34, District 3, Sta. Cruz, Manila on April 30, 2026.

CEduc student volunteers led a dance warm-up, taught mathematics fundamentals, demonstrated proper handwashing, and conducted storytelling.

The outreach program is coordinated through the DHRD Admin Staff and Barangay 339, Zone 4 Kagawad Mariz Miclat.

LOOK | Department Chair, Asst. Prof. Janina Mae D. Villafuerte, served as the guest speaker during the Kindergarten Moving Up Ceremony with the theme, “Pilipinong Nagsipagtapos: Handang Mamuno nang May Kakayanan at Mabuting Pagkatao,” on April 28, 2026 at the Conference Hall. The ceremony honored the achievements of pupils and highlighted the readiness to lead with competence and good virtues.

Asst. Prof. Villafuerte shared a heartfelt and imaginative message with the Kindergarten Completers, reminding them that life is like a red car.

The car body represents themselves, strong and unique. The wheels symbolize friends who journey with them. The steering wheel reflects their dreams that guide their direction. The seat belt stands for their teachers, keeping them safe and supported. And the fUEl is their family, whose love keeps them going every day.

She encouraged the children to take good care of their “cars”, to believe in themselves, stay close to their friends, listen to their teachers, and always love and appreciate their parents. Because with all these, their dream car will surely take them to beautiful places.

In her closing, she left everyone with a powerful reminder about the most important part of the car which is the engine, the heart. A heart filled with kindness, courage, and love will keep them moving forward and becoming not just successful individuals, but truly good people.

| Dean Callueng served as a PAASCU Accreditor for the Reaccreditation Survey of four (4) Master’s Programs and Formal Survey of MA Nursing program at Father Saturnino Urios University in Butuan City last April 17-18, 2026 .

| Department Chair, Associate Professor Michael Angelo S. Mercado, served as the guest speaker during the 9th Senior High School Graduation Ceremony of Pulung Santol National High School with the theme, “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character”. The ceremony honored the academic achievements of the graduates and highlighted the importance of developing future leaders grounded in excellence and integrity.

In his message, Associate Professor Mercado conveyed the warm greetings of the UE College of Education and shared its inspiring message, “Magandang Buhay at Mabuting Tao,” as a reminder for the graduates to pursue success with excellence, compassion, and good character.

The Chair of the Department of Professional Education, Assoc Prof. Michael Angelo Mercado, and College Coordinator Assoc Prof. Jo-ann G. Grecia showcased CEduc’s programs during the PUNLASIK 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall, UE Caloocan on April 21, 2026, 9:00-12nn.
