Our students recently visited the American Library in Paris, the largest English-language lending library in Europe, for an academic session focused on research methodology and advanced information literacy 📚

Guided by professional librarians, students explored how to go beyond basic searches, learning how to navigate specialized databases, evaluate sources critically, and build stronger research questions. From first essays to master’s theses, the session offered practical tools to approach academic work with more confidence and precision.

Bringing together students from courses and those beginning their thesis journey, the experience highlighted an essential skill: turning information into knowledge.
