BREAKING: Malacañang suspends classes in all levels and government work in the cities of Manila and Pasay this Monday, January 13, 2025, due to the "National Rally for Peace" of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

However, agencies engaged in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and performance of vital services shall continue their operations.

Suspension of work in private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of our beloved Ma'am Normalyn Basa Segura, who served as our dedicated sixth grade MAPEH teacher for 30 years. Please keep Ma'am Normalyn's family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time. A funeral service is being held at Dulce, Abad Santos.

Our prayers and deepest condolences to the family, and may Ma'am Segura's soul rest in eternal peace.

Sa paggunita natin ngayong araw ng kabayanihan ni Dr. Jose Rizal, ating alalahanin ang kanyang hindi matatawarang pagmamahal sa bansang Pilipinas.

Tulad ni Rizal, nawa’y patuloy na mag-alab sa ating puso ang pagpapahalaga sa edukasyon at kasarinlan ng bayan.

WALANG PASOK: Manila Mayor Dra. Honey Lacuna-Pangan suspends face-to-face and online classes for students from daycare until senior high school for Monday, November 11, 2024, based on DepEd Order No. 37 due to the raised Signal No. 1 in the city.

Face-to-Face classes for colleges and universities are likewise suspended in Manila.

Shift to online class for private colleges and universities shall be at the discretion of their school administrators.

With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved Ma'am Liberacion A. Sarmiento, former principal of LDES. Please keep Ma'am Liberacion's family in your thoughts as they go through this difficult time.

It was on October 17, 2024, when Lakan Dula Elementary School was made a part of the SM Store's meaningful "Share Shoes" movement. 🩵

We would like to extend our profound gratitude to CSR of SM San Lazaro, through Ma'am Ellaine Briones and LDES SPTA led by Mrs. Christina B. Saldua, for their kind contribution of pairs of shoes for our student participants during the SM Life-CSR Day. Our batang Lakan Dulanians surely had fun with the games, meals, kiddie gift packs, and shoes given to them.
We are grateful for this event that is still part of the DepEd's Adopt-A-School Program. 🫶
