BRIEF HISTORY
Old-world Intramunos is home to Spanish-era landmarks like Fort Santiago, with a large stone gate and a shrine to national hero José Rizal. The ornate Manila Cathedral houses bronze carvings and stained glass windows, while the San Agustin Church museum has religious antwork and statues. Spanish colonial furniture and ant fill Casa Manila museum, and horse-drawn carriages (kalesa) ply the area's 412 cobblestone streets. It is located at City Manila near the National Museum and SM City Manila.

Intramuros is the historic walled city of Manila, Philippines. It was built by the Spanish in the 16th century and served as the seat of government during the Spanish colonial period. Today, Intramuros is a popular tourist destination, with many historic landmarks, museums, and cultural attractions.

OBJECTIVES:
This study aims to develop a comprehensive local tourism development plan in Intramuros at the City of Manila; collectively guided by the researcher’s historical basis, practical, and evidence based roadmap that can be adopted by the local government and community partners to boost tourism while safeguarding cultural and environmental values. At the end of this study, the researchers are expected to achieve the following specific objectives:
1. To attract more tourists to visit the country; learn and discover the historical landmarks, Cultural attractions and other hidden gems offered by Intramuros tourism development.
2. To showcase innovative plans and Sustainable solutions that will help develop the local tourism industry at Intramuros, Manila.
3. To create a bridge and tie between the government, communities and other business sectors to invest, preserve and protect the Intramuros for the future generations; and
4. To develop a new local tourism destination into a sustainable and high‑value tourism destination.

Maglakad sa mga palengke ng Ongpin Street, at tikman ang tunay na Intsik at Pilipinong pagkain gaya ng hopia, shopao, pansit, shomai, at iba pang nagsasarapang pagkain na pawang dito lamang makikita. Puntahan ang Seng Guan Temple, mamasyal sa Lucky Chinatown Mall, at damhin ang masiglang atmospera tuwing pagdiriwang ng Chinese New Year. Introduction:
Bangkusay ay isang lugar sa Tondo, Maynila na kilala sa Labanan sa Ilog ng Bangkusay noong Hunyo 3, 1571. Dito naganap ang sagupaan sa pagitan ng mga sundalong Kastila na pinamunuan ni Miguel López de Legazpi at mga mandirigmang katutubo mula sa Pampanga at ibang karatig-lugar, na pinamunuan umano ni Tarik Sulayman (bagama’t may debate sa kasaysayan tungkol sa eksaktong pagkakakilanlan niya).

Layunin ng mga katutubo na pigilan ang ganap na pananakop ng Espanya sa Maynila, ngunit natalo sila dahil sa mas makabagong armas at saklaw ng puwersa ng Kastila. Ang pagkatalong ito ay nagpatibay ng kontrol ng mga Kastila sa Maynila at nagsilbing daan upang maging kabiserang kolonyal ang lungsod.

Sa kabuuan, ang Bangkusay ay simbolo ng pagtatanggol ng mga katutubo at isang mahalagang bahagi ng maagang kolonyal na kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.

SHORT BACKGROUND:
The National Museum of the Philippines in Luneta, Manila, consists of three main buildings: the National Museum of Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology, and the National Museum of Natural History. The National Museum of Arts features important works of art by Filipino artists such as Juan Luna, including the famous "Spoliarium," and Fernando Amorsolo, as well as sculptures by Guillermo Tolentino. Meanwhile, the National Museum of Anthropology houses ancient artifacts from indigenous groups of the Philippines, such as the Manunggul Jar, traditional textiles, and old writing systems such as Baybayin.

The National Museum of Natural History showcases the country's natural heritage. Admission to these museums has been free since 2016, with the aim of promoting and preserving the cultural and natural resources of the Philippines.
