Vincent enrolled in my class with a clear goal in mind and that was to achieve his band score of 7 in the speaking test.

At first, he wasn't able to express himself fluently and he had difficulty generating good ideas but he trusted the process and employed the strategies we discussed in every practice.

Lo and behold, he got his target band score and he's now on his way to fulfill his dreams of becoming a nurse in The USA!! Woohoo! Congratulations! 🎉

'If writing were easy, everyone would do it!'

Writing essays is daunting for many people because of inexperience. How can we do something succesfully if we haven't done it a lot in the past?

I've noticed that many of my students struggle with idea generation and organization that's why I created a process that would make writing essays a lot less intimidating.

Remember your ideas must always be focused and relevant to get at least a 7 in the IELTS Writing test.

Here's how I check my students' tasks to make sure that they would meet the criteria set by the IELTS examiners for their target band scores.

Another success story! Lestine was worried about her speaking and writing when I first spoke with her. We spent 3 months of intensive practice and it all paid off!!

With dedication, commitment, and sufficient practice, she was able to achieve her band score of 7.5!! Another proof that it's not about the length of time, but about having the right attitude and employing the best strategies. Congratulations!

I have always been passionate about teaching English because I know how much it can change someone's life. It has the capability of opening many doors of opportunities as well as creating endless possibilities.

For some, being able to speak in English fluently can help jumpstart their careers while for others, it means they can build their new lives in another place. These are just some of the many reasons why I take my role as a language tutor very seriously.
