"Ang ating wika ay ang puso ng ating pamana, ang boses ng ating kasaysayan, at ang liwanag na gumagabay sa ating hinaharap."

Isang maalab na pagbati at pakikiisa mula sa Arsenio H. Lacson Elementary School para sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang:

"Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon."

Sa gitna ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng Artificial Intelligence (AI), patuloy na nangingibabaw ang Wikang Filipino hindi lamang bilang paraan ng pakikipag-usap, kundi bilang matibay na pundasyon ng dunong at agham. Ang pagtatagpo ng ating sariling wika at ng makabagong teknolohiya ay patunay na ang ating kultura ay buhay, umaangkop, at patuloy na lumalago sa modernong panahon.

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of face-to-face classes for Kinder to Senior High School (SHS) in public and private schools on Friday, 10 July 2026, due to moderate to heavy rainfall expected to persist today.

The MCDRRMO reported moderate to heavy rainfall of 50 to 100 millimeters, with conditions expected to persist throughout the day.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.
