URGENT ADVISORY
5 August 2026

Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools on Thursday, 6 August 2026, due to inclement weather brought about by enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat).

According to the MCDRRMD, the latest weather models and rainfall outlook from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) indicate significant rainfall tomorrow, with intensity ranging from light to moderate, at times heavy.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

The Organization Fair 2026 held last July 24 was a resounding success, marking the official opening of doors by our vibrant student organizations. ✨ The SSVP and COM, Athletics Club, Students Peer Club, SICM Dance Troupe, SICM Band, SICM Chorale, and the Earth Savers Club proudly welcomed new members with engaging activities and inspiring showcases. 🙌 Highlights included the Athletics Club’s spirited tryouts and the Earth Savers Club’s formal election of officers — moments that truly embodied leadership and passion. The Central Board of Students extends heartfelt gratitude to all who participated and supported this milestone event. Together, we continue to build a united and dynamic campus life.

On July 14, the campus came alive with excitement as the 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙖𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙣. The 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 was a burst of vibrant colors, filled with inspiring sharing from each program. Students and faculty alike joined in the spirit of unity and purpose, highlighted by the 𝓵𝓪𝓾𝓷𝓬𝓱 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓐𝓬𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓲𝓽𝔂 𝓒𝓪𝓻𝓭, a creative tool designed to guide participation in upcoming events and activities throughout the year.

The energy carried into the 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, where the 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 gathered the entire college department. Here, students were warmly welcomed and 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘶𝘴, giving them a clearer picture of the resources available to support their learning journey.
