The pandemic continues to evolve and we are seeing yet another surge in different countries worldwide. This time around, more and more kids are infected. Here are some ways you can support kids during this time.

We have been disconnected for the past days due to Super Tyhoon Odette/ Rei. Some of the areas here in the Philippines still have no access to the outside world as an aftermath of the storm. People badly need basic supplies as their houses have been destroyed. Siargao Island - one of the places first hit by the storm is still unaccessible.

One of the ways that you can help, specially if you are overseas is to send in your donation through the Philippine Red Cross. They accept Paypal transfer. I have added a link in our bio for those who want to donate.

For those in the Philippines, there are various drop-off points to give your donations or you may coordinate with the LGU for direct donations. Again, basic supplies badly needed - clothes, water bottles, blankets, ready to eat meals, etc.

Here in my city (Butuan City) we are on Day 3 of no water supply. I can only imagine how difficult it is for those who lack not just water supply, electricity but basic day to day amenities. And it is a week to go before Christmas… 😔

We’ve all had that moment when a child is under stress, frustrated or even angry perhaps. Whatever strong emotion a child may be feeling, make it a point to be there to help the child process what is going on inside.
