Three decades after Ukraine gained independence in 1991, Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine last February 24, which caused enormous chaos, fear, and loss. In a world embroiled in conflict, the youth must not turn a blind eye and remain knowledgeable about contemporary issues.

Following Putin's recognition of two separatist zones in East Ukraine as independent at the end of February 2022, Ukraine received a deluge of armed aggression that still withstands to this day.

A month has passed since then, yet the rolling waves of tribulation continue to sever the current of international peace and security, causing decay in all branches of society. As the Ukrainian conflict prolongs, it is high time to ask 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦, 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴, 𝘨𝘰 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?
