𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆: 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗣𝗔𝗚 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Leadership is not merely about holding a position—it is about inspiring others, creating opportunities, and serving a purpose greater than oneself. As the CPAG Alumni Association welcomes a new set of officers for 2026, seven outstanding graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology program step forward with a shared commitment to strengthen the bond among alumni and uphold the values they carried throughout their academic journey.

At the helm of this year's leadership team is 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐨, who assumes the role of President. Guided by the belief that “Nothing is impossible for those who dare to dream and persevere,” he exemplifies determination and optimism, encouraging fellow alumni to pursue their goals regardless of the challenges ahead.

Supporting this vision is 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲 𝐑. 𝐀𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐬, the newly elected Vice President. Her perspective on success is rooted in resilience: “In every hardship there is success, in every pain there's progress. Learn to fight, not to quit.” Through her leadership, she hopes to inspire others to view obstacles as stepping stones toward growth.

Serving as Secretary, 𝐄𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐚 embraces the future with confidence and enthusiasm. Her words, “This moment, this unwavering first step, will mark the beginning of something great,” perfectly capture the excitement and promise of a new chapter for the association.

Taking charge of financial stewardship is 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐑. 𝐓𝐢𝐛𝐨, the organization's Treasurer. Believing that dreams must be pursued with both courage and purpose, he lives by the reminder: “Carry your dreams with courage and move forward with purpose.”

As Auditor, 𝐄𝐝𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐑. 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐨 brings a mindset shaped by continuous learning. Her reflection, “Not everything was easy to understand, but everything was necessary to learn,” speaks to the value of embracing every experience as part of personal and professional development.

Responsible for connecting and informing the alumni community is 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐑. 𝐌𝐢ñ𝐨𝐧, the Public Information Officer. She believes that persistence is the key to achievement, sharing the powerful message: “Success is simply the place you arrive when you refuse to quit.”

Completing the team is 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐌. 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢, who serves as Business Manager. Her thoughtful outlook on life reminds everyone that growth often begins in moments of transition: “This is the pause between chapters, where old dreams rest and new ones begin. Breathe, then walk forward.”

Together, these leaders represent the hopes, aspirations, and enduring spirit of the CPAG Alumni community. Their stories are different, but they are united by a common goal—to serve with integrity, lead with purpose, and create meaningful opportunities for fellow alumni.

As they begin their term, may they continue to inspire others through their dedication, vision, and commitment to excellence. The future of the CPAG Alumni Association is bright, and with leaders like these, it is in capable hands.

Among the many extension initiatives presented and other innovative community extension programs, it was the SHIELD Project that earned global recognition and emerged as the university’s highest-ranking project.

The project entitled:

“𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗟𝗗: Support, Help, Information, Education, Leadership, and Development to Combat Cyberbullying among Adolescents”

received the Special Award for Categorical Ranking — Top 100, Rank 13 under Ethics and Integrity (A6), a prestigious international recognition highlighting impactful and innovative university programs worldwide.

This meaningful initiative, organized by the Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator – Local Youth Development Division, became a venue for young leaders to learn more about mental wellness, self-awareness, empathy, and the importance of creating safe spaces where every voice is heard and valued. Through engaging discussions, team-building activities, and shared experiences, we strengthened not only our understanding of mental health but also our connection with fellow youth leaders from different communities.

The camp reminded us that mental health truly matters, and that even simple conversations can bring comfort, hope, and healing. As youth leaders, we are inspired to become advocates of positivity, understanding, and support within our campus and community. Together, let us continue promoting awareness, encouraging open communication, and empowering the youth to prioritize their well-being. 💜

Despite the 𝗕. 𝗘. 𝗔. 𝗧 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 running unopposed, the election was formally carried out to uphold transparency and the democratic process in selecting the new set of student leaders.
