We, students from 𝐏𝐔𝐏 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 under the program 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, are currently conducting our thesis titled "𝑷𝒉𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝑭𝒊𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑾𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑼𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕-𝒅𝒖𝒕𝒚 𝑬𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑾𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝑨𝒔 𝑨𝒅𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆". This study focuses on assessing the physical and mechanical properties of reinforced concrete with fibers from copper wires found in upcycled light-duty electrical cables.
To advance our research, it's necessary for us to avail materials and conduct tests related to fiber reinforced concrete. With that, we are aiming to 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 (𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬) and 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭-𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬), things necessary as we go through with our research.
