The Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines – PLM invites you to take part in a seminar that explores the evolving landscape of social work practice. From navigating careers in development and governance to understanding the vital role of legal social workers in human trafficking interventions, these sessions aim to broaden our perspectives and deepen our sense of purpose.

As emerging professionals, we are called to continuously learn, adapt, and respond to the changing needs of the communities we serve. Through meaningful dialogue and shared insights, we hope to create a space where knowledge meets action, and compassion meets justice.

The third year Social Work students of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) invite you to join us in a seminar series that highlights the evolving landscape of social work practice. From understanding the role of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in promoting peace and nation-building, to exploring restorative approaches in juvenile justice, these sessions aim to deepen our awareness and strengthen our commitment to the people we serve.

As future social workers, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. It is found in dialogue, shared experiences, and the courage to challenge perspectives. Through these seminars, we hope to create a space where knowledge meets empathy, and where purpose is continuously shaped.

This 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆), at 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, the 4th Year Social Work students will gather for the “𝗞𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲,” where their field experiences will be shared—much like coffee being carefully brewed.
