Hate culture must end now!

With the unprecedented Atlanta shootings that killed 8 people of which 6 are women Asian-Americans, the Millennials PH as an Asian youth organization is strongly condemning this bloody massacre and call for immediate justice.

American President Joe Biden, in his speech pertaining to the tragic event that happened in the Atlanta Gold Spa, expresses his deep concern with the ongoing and rising Anti-Asian hate incidents and male supremacy in the country.

Anti-Asian culture rises when the pandemic begun last year, 2020. The reason that the said virus came from China, an Asian country generally put Asia into negative criticisms and hate biases. Over three thousand reports had been recorded in America during the pandemic due to verbal and physical abuse of Americans to the Asians. And with the alarming and tragic killing that happened in Atlanta, hate against Asians must stop now!

Even though the source of the virus is still unconfirmed, one thing is for sure, not all Asians are the reason why we suffer right now in a global pandemic. In fact, we are all victims of this. And to put Asians into the fire, into hate, and kill them is just proof that white supremacy still exists and racism in the middle of the pandemic is spreading like a virus.

Hate and virus are the same, it can kill people, the only difference is, hate is faster to end the life of the victim rather than the virus.
