Riding high on a three-game winning streak, the 𝑺𝑩𝑼 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 are ready for their next challenge as they face the 𝑨𝑼 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒇𝒔 on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟯, 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 at the 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲.

With three straight victories fueling their confidence, the Lions look to keep the fire burning and extend their winning run. But the Chiefs are ready to bring the fight. Can SBU sustain its momentum and make it four in a row, or will AU put an end to the Lions’ streak?

Please be guided by the schedule of activities for 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

For Grade 11 students, the day shall begin with the Movement to Mass from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM, followed by the Welcoming Mass in honor of St. Carlo Acutis from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and the Second Period from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Recess shall be from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by the Third Period from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the Fourth Period from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Lunch shall be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by the Fifth Period from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and the Sixth Period from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

On his official Feast Day, Monday, October 12, 2026, the sacred relic of St. Carlo Acutis will be arriving at the Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat.

Through this encounter, may we all gather and spend a moment of prayer, witnessing his inspiring legacy and dedication to God using his gifts.

The 𝑺𝑩𝑼 𝑹𝒆𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 reclaim their winning momentum as they take down the 𝑼𝑷𝑯𝑺𝑫 𝑨𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒔 in a hard-fought matchup, finishing strong with a 71-63 victory. The Red and White continue to prove their resilience on the court, improving their NCAA Season 102 record to 5-2.

Guiding the game for the Red Lions, 𝗝𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼 delivered an impressive performance that earned him Player of the Game, with 𝟭𝟱 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝟯 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀. His contributions helped power the Lions to their third straight victory! 🦁

Afterwards, they shall have their recess from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by their third period from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This is to be followed by their fourth period from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. They shall have their lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by their shortened fifth period from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM. The movement to the Abbot Lopez hall shall commence at 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the Career Cluster Awareness Seminar from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Dismissal of classes shall be at 3:00 PM.

𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗦: 𝗢𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸, 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 marks the 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 for our Student Council. More than simply welcoming our new Grade 11 subcommittees, this onboarding brings together leaders who are ready to find their place in a council built on service. As we board this journey together; every station, track and destination is a reminder of the responsibility we carry as leaders.

With one direction and one shared purpose, we move forward as one Student Council. The journey ahead may take us through unfamiliar and unexpected stops, but together, we remain on course, ready to serve and lead. 🚉

In line with the activities of the Guidance and Counseling Office to be conducted on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟳, Wednesday please be guided by the special schedule for 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝟭𝟮.

All students shall report to school at 7:30 AM.

For Grade 12 students, the Social Emotional Learning Scale shall take place from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, followed by Recess from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The College Readiness Assessment shall resume from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM, followed by Lunch from 11:00 PM to 12:00 PM. Students shall then continue with the College Readiness Assessment from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, followed by their 4th Period from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
