🤝 Visit and Meeting with AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie)

Prof. Nicolas Maïnetti (Mainetti), Regional Director for Asia-Pacific of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF – Asie-Pacifique), visited the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) and met with Dr. Gina Basa, Director of Linkages.

📍 Location: IILEAO Conference Room, 3rd Floor Admin Building

The meeting focused on exploring a potential partnership between AUF and TUP to strengthen international linkages, foster academic collaboration, and support internationalization initiatives.

About AUF:
The Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) is a global association of higher education and research institutions founded in 1961. With a network of nearly 1,000 universities across more than 100 countries, AUF supports academic cooperation, research collaboration, digital innovation, and the promotion of the French language and culture in higher education.

✅ The visit marked an important step toward future international collaborations between AUF and TUP.

🎯 Purpose: To advance international rankings and knowledge across diverse internationalization achievements in higher education.

Organizers: Commission on Higher Education – National Capital Region (CHED-NCR) and its Transnational Education Unit, in collaboration with the CHED International Affairs Service.

Participants: Invited higher education institutions recognized in global rankings such as WURI and THE World University Rankings, including the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP), along with other selected universities
