From engines to reliable energy delivered-

To strengthen reliability across the sector, the Department of Energy, led by Undersecretary Mario C. Marasigan, met with the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) to enhance performance and mechanical reliability standards for power-generating facilities.

A more rigorous Power Plant Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and Efficiency Assessment Checklist is to be designed to ensure that generating units are stable, properly maintained, safety-compliant, and fully ready to run without disruption.

Working alongside the Energy Regulatory Commission, National Electrification Administration, National Power Corporation, and National Transmission Corporation, the DOE continues to raise the bar for data-driven oversight and engineering excellence.
