Alam mo ba kailan gagamitin ang "Broad Match" sa Google Ads?

If nag ma manage ka na ng campaign most probably you've seen the recommendation to use broad match keywords.

Super powerful ng broad match pero dapat tama and pag gamit. 💡

Kung bago kang media buyers either you're avoiding this or in-apply mo yung recommendation bahala na si Batman.

✅ So kailan nga ba siya gagamitin?

1️⃣ If bago yung campaign, start with phrase/exact match to gather initial data.

2️⃣ Focus ka muna on getting at least 20-30 conversions from these match types sa first month. If you have a low-budget campaign naman, wait until ma hit mo yung number of conversions.

3️⃣ Once may enough data ka na, test broad match CAREFULLY. Always check your search terms daily and add negative keywords using the Keyword Planner.

❌ DO NOT Use Broad Match:
🚫 If ang bidding strategy is Maximize Clicks or Enhanced CPC
🚫 If wala kang proper conversion tracking installed
🚫 If wala kang time monitoring search terms daily

For the past few years, Google has been pushing Value-Based Bidding, pero sa dami ng accounts na na-audit namin, isa sa pinaka-common na mali ay ‘yung conversion value laging naka-set sa $1.

Basic pero super important na maayos ang conversion values mo para mas effective ang bidding strategy mo.

Last week, our campaign suddenly died. No leads. Panic mode kame!

You launched a Google Ad.🚀

Nice. But… did you remember negative keywords?

Because if not... congrats!

You just paid to show your ad to people who have ZERO interest in what you’re selling. 😭

Negative keywords help you filter out the wrong audience so you don’t waste money.

Example:

Selling luxury watches?

You probably don’t want your ad showing up for “cheap watches” or “free watches” (unless gusto mong manlibre, in which case… adopt me). 🥹

Lesson learned: Set your negative keywords.

Your wallet will thank you.
