On May 13, 2025, the College of Education, in collaboration with the Community Extension Department and the Letran Future Educators’ Society, hosted a Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of Tutorial Sessions in English and Mathematics. This event honored the outstanding achievements of Grade 6 and Grade 7 students from Barangay 657, Intramuros, Manila, who demonstrated commendable dedication to their academic growth.
This initiative, deeply rooted in our commitment to educational equity and community engagement, exemplifies the transformative potential of targeted pedagogical interventions. By fostering foundational skills in English and Mathematics, the program has empowered young learners to build confidence, cultivate intellectual curiosity, and prepare for future academic challenges. The ceremony served as a powerful affirmation of our shared vision: to provide accessible, high-quality education that nurtures the next generation of critical thinkers and societal contributors.
We express profound gratitude to our pre-service educators, whose pedagogical expertise and commitment to service have driven this program’s success. We also acknowledge the invaluable partnership with the Community Extension Department and the steadfast support of Barangay 657, whose collaboration has amplified the initiative’s reach and impact. Together, we have created a model of community-based education that bridges academic theory and societal application.
This milestone marks not a conclusion but a catalyst for continued innovation and outreach. The College of Education remains steadfast in its mission to advance knowledge, inspire lifelong learning, and effect meaningful change through education.
