The Karangalan Troopers of the 4th Cavalry Company (Separate), Armor Division, Philippine Army (PA), proudly extend their warmest congratulations to Col. Maria Victoria I. Blancaflor on her designation as the incoming Commander of the National Capital Region Regional Community Defense Group (NCRRCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army.

She is a distinguished member of the Philippine Military Academy’s (PMA) Kalasag-Lahi Class of 1997, Col. Blancaflor is celebrated as one of the historic “Magnificent Seven”—the pioneering group of female cadets who made history as the first women to graduate from the PMA following its admission of female cadets.

Today, she continues to break barriers as the first female officer designated to lead the NCRRCDG, RESCOM, PA. She also holds the distinction of being the first female to command both the Armor Maintenance Battalion (AMBn) and the 2nd Cavalry Battalion of the Armor Division.

Her appointment stands as a testament to her exemplary leadership, steadfast commitment to duty, and remarkable service to the nation. It serves as a powerful inspiration to generations of soldiers and leaders who aspire to follow in her footsteps.

The Karangalan Troopers proudly extend their heartfelt congratulations and wish Col. Blancaflor continued success in this significant milestone of her military career.

31 𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝟐 (𝐌𝐒𝟐)

The 𝐄𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐨 "𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠" 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐳 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂𝐔 successfully concluded its Military Service 2 program with a meaningful closing ceremony that honored leadership, service, and the dedication of its cadets and cadettes. The event was led by Commandant 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐎 𝐍 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐑 (𝐂𝐄) 𝐏𝐀 and assisted by 𝟏𝐋𝐓 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 𝐒 𝐕𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), with the program anchored by 𝐏𝐅𝐂 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐏 𝐂𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐥 (𝐈𝐍𝐅) 𝐏𝐀 and training staff who ensured every drill and presentation reflected discipline and excellence.

Highlights included an inspiring keynote on leadership and the youth’s role in nation-building by 𝐋𝐓𝐆𝐄𝐍 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐎 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐎 𝐏 𝐁𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐓), a leadership journey segment, strategy and soft-power showcases, and a comprehensive review of campaign results and leadership traits. Cadets displayed their preparedness through segments on small unit tactics, medics, map reading, M16 assembly/disassembly, battle drills, and practical and written assessments.

The graduation roster and last message were led by 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐎 𝐍 𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐑 (𝐂𝐄) 𝐏𝐀 and outgoing Cadet Corps Commander 𝐂/𝐂𝐎𝐋 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀𝐇 𝐎 𝐆𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐎 𝟏𝐂𝐋, followed by the awarding of mementos and group photos. A closing video, the singing of Pilipinas Kong Mahal, and the final salute One Last Lumansag bookended the ceremony, underscoring camaraderie, discipline, and the cadets’ readiness to lead and serve with honor.
