Celebrating World Mental Health Day reminds us of the importance of being present for others.

As counselors and helping professionals, we play a vital role in supporting those who struggle and in guiding them toward healing and growth, one day at a time.

Let us remember that the ability to help others is both a gift and an opportunity, to share compassion, offer understanding, and bring hope in our own ways.

May we continue to care not only for others but also for ourselves, nurturing our physical and mental well-being so we can keep being that light for others.

27-year-old Riane Rafael Foronda, a proud graduate of Philippine Women’s University (PWU), has proven that blindness is never a barrier to success.

Once battling depression and isolation after losing his sight at 15, he rose above stigma through faith, family, and music.

This year, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian—and now, he has also passed the September 2025 Psychometricians Licensure Exam (BLEPP).

In light of the planned nationwide transport strike beginning March 24, classes in PWU-JASMS Manila shall shift to synchronous online modality tomorrow, March 24.

Meanwhile, the planned sportsfest and fair at PWU-JASMS QC shall proceed as scheduled.

Classes in PWU Taft Campus shall continue on synchronous online modality as scheduled.

Work operations in all PWU and PWU-JASMS Campuses shall proceed as scheduled.

Students who are processing their applications and enrollment may do so either in-person or online via www.pwu.edu.ph.
