ADVISORY

In line with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 129, suspending all onsite or face-to-face classes in NCR and other affected regions due to inclement weather, classes at PWU Taft and PWU-JASMS Manila shall shift to SYNCHRONOUS ONLINE modality tomorrow, August 19, 2026.

Work operations in PWU and PWU-JASMS-Manila campuses shall continue via remote work arrangements. Except for essential Facilities and Maintenance Services, all campuses shall be closed.

Classes and Work Operations at PWU-JASMS Quezon City are suspended tomorrow in observance of Quezon City Day.

The University shall continue to monitor the weather situation and will issue further announcements as necessary.

ADVISORY

In line with the announcement of the City Government of Manila suspending face-to-face classes for Kinder to Senior High School due to inclement weather, Classes in PWU-JASMS Manila shall shift to ONLINE SYNCHRONOUS modality TODAY, Aug. 14, 2026.

Classes in PWU Taft Campus (Tertiary) and PWU-JASMS Quezon City shall proceed onsite as scheduled.

Work Operations in all campuses shall also proceed onsite as scheduled.

The University shall continue to monitor the situation and make further announcements if needed.

DCG Delegates and JASMS students engaged in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that integrated Philippine and Japanese Culture across different subject areas. In English, they explored Haiku and Tanaga; in Science, they participated in interactive activities on Force, Motion, and Inertia; and in Arts, they learned the basics of drawing the Philippine Jeepney while expressing their own creativity and self-expression

NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION 2026
July 27–31, 2026 | Classroom-Based Celebration
The High School of PWU JASMS successfully celebrated Nutrition Month 2026 through a week-long classroom-based celebration anchored on the national theme, “Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!”, under the overarching call, “Sa PPAN, Sama-Sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat.”
The celebration brought together our Junior High School and Senior High School students, with subject teachers integrating the importance of proper nutrition, healthy living, and environmental care into their respective subjects and classroom activities.
Junior High School Activities Included:
- Nutrition Awareness Poster and Poem Making
- Music Composition and Nutrition Jingle
- Cooking Balanced Nutritious Food featuring the 3 G’s: Go, Grow, and Glow Foods
Senior High School Activities Included:
- Wellness TikTok Challenge
- Nutrition and Nature Advocacy Campaign
- Poster Making: Different Healthy Diets for Different Needs
- Interpretative Dance
The week-long celebration culminated in a meaningful Salo-Salo per grade level with their advisers, where students shared nutritious meals while promoting healthy food choices and the spirit of togetherness.

In line with the announcements of the City Governments of Manila and Quezon City on Class Suspensions due to inclement weather, Classes in PWU Taft, PWU JASMS-Manila, and Quezon City shall proceed via ONLINE (Synchronous or Asynchronous) modality tomorrow, Aug. 11, 2026.

However, ALL CAMPUSES shall resume onsite work operations.

The University shall continue to monitor the situation and issue further announcements, if necessary.
