The 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 successfully turned over 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝟓) 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 to 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚ñ𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 to support its academic and administrative needs. 💻✨

This initiative strengthens access to technology, empowering both students and school personnel with better tools for learning, productivity, and innovation.

𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘢𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳, 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦-𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝔦𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔦𝔱𝔲𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫𝔰. 🤝📚

The 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 of the Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.) – Manila has developed a 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐚-𝐃𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 through an undergraduate research project conducted by its students. 💡👨‍🔧👩‍🔧

This innovation was designed to address a key need identified by the partner 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐜, 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞. 🌴🤝 The technology plays a crucial role in efforts to improve the quality, safety, and profitability of coconut products. 📈✅

Beyond its technical value, the project reflects the department’s strong commitment to applying engineering solutions for social good. ❤️⚙️ It also demonstrates how innovation can be effectively aligned with sustainability and community empowerment. 🌱🌍

Through initiatives such as this copra-drying technology, T.I.P. Industrial Engineering students embody the institution’s mission of developing engineers who are not only technically competent but also socially responsible and responsive to real-world challenges. 🎓✨

Through the collaboration of the 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐈𝐓𝐒𝐎) and the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 of the 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬–𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚, another meaningful community engagement activity was successfully conducted with 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲. 🤝🏻❤️

As part of the initiative, 𝐬𝐢𝐱 (𝟔) 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 were formally turned over to support the foundation’s administrative needs—enhancing access to technology for both residents and administrators. 💻✨

A Basic Computer Training session was also conducted, equipping participants with essential knowledge on computer hardware and proper maintenance. Through initiatives like this, T.I.P. Manila continues to empower its partner communities by advancing digital literacy through innovative solutions. 💛🖤

The 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, in partnership with the 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 and the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬, once again successfully conducted the 𝐋.𝐈.𝐅.𝐄. (𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞) 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 for the Homelife Coordinators of 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚. ⛑️🧰❤️

Participants gained essential first aid and emergency response skills, including proper use of emergency kits, empowering them to foster a culture of preparedness in their homes and the wider community.

In addition, the 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 (𝐃𝐓𝐏) 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬 of T.I.P. Manila conducted a cybersecurity seminar aimed at raising awareness of safe and responsible digital practices, protecting personal information, and promoting a more secure online environment.

As the third partner community for this Community Engagement Services (CES) program, Hospicio de San Jose represents another meaningful step toward building safer, more informed, and more resilient communities. 💛🖤🚑
