"Honestly, one month na lang yung natitira sa akin for review when I decided to take the boards again. REO was actually recommended by a friend who was also a passer, kaya mas na-encourage akong mag-take ulit and this time, I decided to trust REO.

Since medyo alanganin na talaga yung time ko, malaking bagay sa akin yung approach nila sa fundamentals, especially sa PIPE. Paulit-ulit kong binalikan yung lectures para mas ma-gets at ma-familiarize talaga sa concepts, and ganun din yung ginawa ko sa ibang subjects. I also really appreciated how they approached the trends in the boards, even yung mga empirical formulas na lumabas and naging useful sa actual exam.

For me, hindi naman kailangan na exact na exact mong makita yung question na ni-review mo. As long as naiintindihan mo yung concept and familiar ka sa terms, mas kaya mong i-figure out yung tanong kahit iba yung pagkakagawa.

Talagang tiyaga lang din sa panonood ng lectures, pagre-recall, and pag-familiarize ng concepts kahit ilang days na lang before the boards. Effective yung approach nila, especially considering how limited my time was.

And now, thanks to REO, Mechanical Engineer na rin ako at last! ๐Ÿฅนโš™๏ธ

"Preparing for the Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination while working is challenging, to say the least. My routine involved working during the day and travelling to the review center from late afternoon until evening almost every day. It was physically and mentally demanding, but REO helped me get through those challenges.

The quality of the review program, the topnotch instructors, mga Class S na halimaw, and the availability of consultation whenever we needed it were some of the biggest factors that helped me prepare for and get through the licensure examination.

What I appreciate most about REO is its zero based approach to teaching. The instructors teach as if you have little to no prior knowledge of the topic, then gradually build your understanding from the basic concepts all the way to more challenging and board level problems. This approach made it easier for me to understand the lessons, strengthen my foundation, and develop confidence in solving problems.

Another thing that helped me tremendously was the recorded lectures. Since I was working while reviewing, there were times when I could not attend a discussion or had to miss a session. Having access to the recorded lectures allowed me to catch up at my own pace and revisit topics that I needed to understand better. It made the review much more flexible and manageable despite my schedule.

I also appreciated how every day at REO felt productive. There was always an opportunity to learn something new, and every session felt like a step forward. Despite the intensity of the review, REO also understood that reviewees are not machines. The mental health breaks gave us time to breathe, recharge, and return to our studies with a better mindset. Those breaks may seem simple, but they were genuinely helpful, especially during the most exhausting parts of the review.

And, of course, we cannot forget the most important part:

Those little things may seem simple, but during a long and exhausting review, they really made a difference.

My journey toward becoming a Mechanical Engineer has been a long one. Six years in college, six years before finally taking the licensure examination, and six points short of the Top 10. It is almost poetic how the number six has followed me throughout this journey. (Dibel talaga q)

Although I fell short of my goal of becoming one of the Top 10 by just few points, I am still grateful for the entire experience and for everything I learned along the way. The result may not have been exactly what I hoped for, but I know that I gave my best. More importantly, I know that I became better prepared, more disciplined, and more resilient because of this journey.
REO was not just a review center for me. It became an important part of my journey toward becoming a licensed Mechanical Engineer.

"Working while reviewing is not on my To-Do List. I believed na full-time face-to-face review dapat ako given yung bilis ko madistract pag online class. But, hindi ko afford maging unemployed for 5 whole months para mag review.

So deciding to enroll for online review, I don't have many choices especially since not all review center has a repo ng recorded lecture na available for the whole review season. So that's where REO came in. Good thing here is available na from the moment you enrolled yung pre-recorded videos of all topics sa app nila while recorded live lectures naman ay available sa app hanggang end ng review season.

Pero yung best program talaga na pinaka naappreciate ko ay yung kumustahan classes every Saturday after the weekly exams where kahit hindi ko mapanood lahat ng classes for that week ay makakacatch-up pa rin ako sa lessons kasi ini-explain pa rin yung concepts while answering the problems. Also the special lecture series where industry related topics na hindi typically dinidiscuss sa University ay dinidiscuss dito.

Also, naaappreciate ko rin yung laging pinapaalala ng instructors to stick to the basics and fundamentals. And to really understand the concepts rather than memorize questions and their answers. But above all, it was really God who carried me to passing the boards. From leading me to people who speaks encouragement and kind words to lift my confidence, to people who rallied in prayer with me.

"Para sa akin, solid ang naging review experience ko sa REO. Di ko ine-expect na magiging ganun ka quality yung service at review materials nila considering na sobrang competitive ng fee nila compared sa ibang review centers.

The instructors are very reliable and approachable na di ka mahihiya magtanong kung may hindi ka maintindihan. Sobrang accessible ng mga lecture videos and notes dahil sa app, kaya hindi ka maleleft behind kung ma busy ka man (or tamarin konte). Di lang knowledge mo sa subjects, pati mindset, sisiguraduhin nilang may palag na sa board exam.
