𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙚'𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 — 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣:

⚠️ Effective 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟵, with a phased transition: from 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟵 to 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟭, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗢𝗦 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 meaning there will be two (2) sets of examinations; Then from 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟭 𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗢𝗦 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿.
⚠️ Auditing and Attestation (AAT) takes the place of Auditing.
⚠️ Financial Accounting and Reporting now integrates FAR and AFAR.
⚠️ Business Analysis and Reporting (BAR) takes the place of Management Services.
⚠️ Information Systems and Controls (ISC) joins as a brand-new subject.
⚠️ Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions (RFBT) is retained with updated composition.
⚠️ Tax Compliance and Planning (TCP) takes the place of Taxation.

BREAKING NEWS 🚨

The Professional Regulatory Board of Accountancy (BOA) has officially adopted and promulgated the Revised Table of Specifications (TOS) for the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) through Board Resolution No. 20, Series of 2026.

The updated TOS aligns the CPALE with current CHED policies, the Philippine Qualifications Framework, and the evolving needs of the accountancy profession. More details, including subject-specific revisions and their implications for future CPALE examinees, will be discussed in our upcoming posts. Stay tuned!
