NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
12/06/2026
Today, the Gran Logia Soberana del Archipielago Filipino, under the leadership of Most Worshipful John Ritchie Jongco, proudly joins the nation in celebrating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence.
In a remarkable display of unity and brotherhood, our Jurisdiction commemorated this historic occasion simultaneously in four significant locations: Rizal Park in Manila, Kawit in Cavite, Davao, and Malaybalay Bukidnon. Though separated by distance, we stood together in one purpose: to honor the sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom and to reaffirm our commitment to the ideals that continue to shape our nation.
This year's national theme, "Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, at Kasaysayan," resonates deeply with the principles we uphold in Liberal Freemasonry and in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Freedom is not merely a privilege inherited from the past; it is a responsibility that challenges us to think freely, act justly, and work tirelessly for the betterment of humanity. Our history teaches us valuable lessons, while our vision for the future inspires us to build a society founded on reason, equality, tolerance, and brotherhood.
As Freemasons, we recognize that true independence extends beyond political freedom. It is the freedom of thought, the courage to seek truth, the respect for human dignity, and the commitment to serve others regardless of differences in belief, background, or status. These are values that remain relevant not only to our Craft but also to the continued progress of our beloved country.
As we celebrate this day, may we remember that the work of nation-building belongs to all of us. Let us honor our history, embrace our shared future, and continue to be instruments of positive change in our communities.
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay ang Kalayaan.

A moment years in the making.
Our Grand Master of GLSdAF Masons, MW Lestat Jongco, was truly delighted to finally meet MW Franco Huard, Grand Master of the Grande Loge ANI du Canada, during the CLIPSAS General Assembly 2026.
Since 2023, both Grand Masters have remained in contact, building mutual respect, trust, and a shared vision for stronger Masonic relations across borders. What began through communication has now become an enduring fraternal bond, finally brought to life through this historic meeting.
In a defining moment of brotherhood and unity, MW Lestat Jongco and MW Franco Huard officially signed the Treaty of Mutual Recognition and Amity of Friendship, a powerful symbol of mutual respect, cooperation, and lasting Masonic solidarity between their respective Grand Lodges.
Moments like these remind us that Freemasonry is not merely sustained by principles, but strengthened by genuine friendship, meaningful dialogue, and unwavering brotherhood. The exchange of ideas, camaraderie, and shared commitment toward a stronger Masonic future made this meeting deeply meaningful and unforgettable.
The bonds we build across nations are not temporary, they are lasting, powerful, and transformative.
Until we meet again, Mexico 2027, my Brother.

Some moments in Brotherhood leave a lasting mark, and this was one of them.
Our Grand Master of GLSdAF Masons, MW Lestat Jongco, is deeply grateful to stand beside the Hermanos of the Gran Orient de Catalunya during the CLIPSAS General Assembly 2026.
What was shared went far beyond handshakes and formalities. It was genuine Brotherhood, warm fellowship, meaningful conversations, mutual respect, and moments that strengthened a bond built across borders, cultures, and generations. The connection forged is not only inspiring, it is a living force, powerful enough to remind us that true Brotherhood knows no distance.
To our beloved Hermanos from the Gran Orient de Catalunya, thank you for the unforgettable camaraderie and for making this gathering deeply meaningful.
Until we meet again in Mexico next year, the journey of Brotherhood moves forward, stronger than ever.

Freemasonry grows stronger through genuine camaraderie, shared purpose, and the lasting bonds of Brotherhood that transcend borders. Moments like these remind us that great friendships among Masons build even greater opportunities for unity and progress.
Warm congratulations to the Gran Oriente Nacional Mexicano for hosting the CLIPSAS General Assembly 2027. Mexico, we are ready, and we look forward to gathering once again in a spirit of fraternity, purpose, and global fellowship.
See you next year in Mexico!

History does not move forward by accident. It moves when men of vision choose brotherhood over borders.
In one frame at the CLIPSAS General Assembly 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria: MW John “Lestat” Jongco of GLSdAF (Philippines), MW Kimon Patkas of International Masonic Order “IMO” Delphi (Greece), and IR João Pereira of Grande Oriente Lusitano (Portugal) – the Grand Orient of Irmão Jose Malcampo y Monge, the very Brother who established La Primera Luz Filipina Lodge in 1856.
Think about that for a moment: from the roots of Philippine Masonry to the challenges of today, the mission remains the same, to build stronger men, freer nations, and a more fraternal world.
This was more than a photo. It was a reminder that history, legacy, and purpose still walk among us.
And when the Brotherhood from different nations stands united, one truth becomes undeniable: Freemasonry is not merely preserving history; it is shaping the future.
The past opened the door. Now, it is our duty to walk through it, together.
