Awareness,Education, and Empowerment: Earthquake drills provide an opportunity to educate students about the science behind earthquakes, their causes, and the potential risks associated with them. Understanding the nature of earthquakes helps students grasp the importance of preparedness and encourages them to take proactive measures to ensure their safety. By participating in earthquake drills, students gain confidence and a sense of empowerment. They become familiar with the necessary actions to take in the event of an earthquake, enabling them to react calmly and responsibly during a real emergency. This empowerment extends beyond school and prepares them for similar situations in their homes and communities.
