Benilde HiFi, in collaboration with Benilde Senior High School Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) tracks, successfully facilitated a two-day Design Thinking Workshop last April 20–21 at ARG Theatre.
The workshop brought together Design Thinking Coaches from various offices and departments, including CIPM, CFAD, Innovation Office, SHS Faculty, and the Benilde HiFi Team, led by Head Coach Ar. Alexander Abear.
This initiative serves as a capacity-building program for future changemakers—empowering students to think creatively, solve real-world challenges, and become the next generation of problem solvers.

Benilde HiFi through Alexander Abear and Jannah Tolentino recently went to Davao to facilitate a 2-day Design Thinking Workshop for the Davao Builders Digital Network (DBDN), bringing Benilde HiFi’s Innovation for Inclusion approach into conversation with the realities and emerging challenges of the construction sector.
Across two days and two groups, the workshop created a space for professionals from different organizations to collaborate, exchange insights, and explore more human-centered and innovative ways of solving industry problems. More than a workshop, it became an opportunity to help participants step back, reframe challenges, and think more intentionally about how better solutions can be designed for real people and real contexts.
This engagement reflected what Benilde HiFi stands for: helping bridge ideas, industries, and people through design thinking, innovation, and problem-solving that are grounded in real-world needs. We were grateful for the opportunity to represent Benilde HiFi in Davao and contribute to an initiative that opened space for deeper reflection, collaboration, and more inclusive ways of building.
Thank you to Davao Builders Digital Network and its partners for making this possible.

Building bridges through creativity, innovation, and shared purpose
Benilde HiFi welcomed the British Council UK delegation for a meaningful exchange on education, arts, and the future of the creative economy. With key leaders like Ruth Mackenzie, Manami Yuasa, and Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan, the visit opened conversations around micro-credentials, cross-border learning, and strengthening pathways for startups—especially within the circular economy.
From highlighting equity-free grants and accessible support for early-stage ventures, to exploring mentorships, investments, and global alignment in creative education, the dialogue reaffirmed a shared vision: empowering innovators through practice-driven learning and collaboration.
This is just the beginning.
Together, we look forward to shaping programs, partnerships, and opportunities that connect local talent to global impact.
