As we enjoy a colorful month ahead of us, let's take a look at what they were fighting for every single day— 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁. Let us give them their deserved spotlight because it is their time to shine with full confidence everywhere they go. 💗💁🏼‍♀️

Today, May 1, 2026, we commemorate and celebrate 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 to honor our Filipino laborers. They are the backbone of our economic growth and the driving force of production. We deeply appreciate their contributions and the hard work they devote to national development. We honor their strength and courage in continuing the labor movement—to fight and call for fair wages and better working conditions.

Amid the economic challenges we face today, let us continue to advocate for legislated wage increases, improved working conditions, and job security. The PNU-DOST SA stands in solidarity with our Filipino laborers who continue to demand and fight for a more just and humane working system. Happy Labor Day!
