Upon recommendation of the Manila City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (MCDRRMD), I am ordering the suspension of face-to-face classes for Kinder to Senior High School (SHS) in public and private schools on Friday, 10 July 2026, due to moderate to heavy rainfall expected to persist today.

The MCDRRMO reported moderate to heavy rainfall of 50 to 100 millimeters, with conditions expected to persist throughout the day.

Schools are advised to shift to ADM or Alternative Delivery Mode.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026, MAHUSAY NA NAGAMPANAN!

Itinanghal na EXEMPLARY ang pagsasagawa ng Brigada Eskwela 2026 sa ating Paaralan. Batay sa Division Memorandum No. 264 s. 2026, isa ang Francisco Balagtas Elementary School sa ginawaran ng exemplary status dahil sa matagumpay at produktibo nitong pagsasakatuparan ng diwa ng bayanihan sa pamamagitan ng Brigada Eskwela.

Maraming Salamat po sa lahat ng mga Batang Balagtas at aming mga minamahal na mga magulang sa mainit na pagsuporta sa ating hangaring maihanda ang Paaralan para sa pasukan.

Gayundin naman ang aming taos-pusong pasasalamat sa lahat ng naging kabahagi ng programang ito, mula sa mga government agencies, non-government organizations, volunteers, civic groups at donors na naglaan nang kanilang lakas, kakayanan at mga donasyon para sa ikahahanda nang ating mahal na Paaralan.

Congratulations to the Balagtas Elite Arnis Team (BEAT) under the training and supervision of Ma'am Jean Endraca-Villanueva for garnering a dominating amount of winnings in the recently concluded BAXAFRA Armor Arnis Invitational Tournament held last 4 July, 2026 at the Camp Aguinaldo Wellness Center, Armed Forces of the Philippines General Headquarters.
