From Mapúa University to the national conversation on the future of learning in the age of AI.

This feature comes as Mapúa University prepares for the inaugural lecture of the 𝗠𝗮𝗽ú𝗮 𝗖𝗼-𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, happening on June 15, 2026, at the Global Classroom, Mapúa University Makati Campus, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The lecture series serves as a platform for exploring the evolving relationship between human intelligence and artificial intelligence in education, research, and society.

Dr. Ariane Macalinga Borlongan's article in The Manila Times, titled “𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜”, highlights one of the most pressing questions of our time: How can educational institutions harness the transformative power of AI while ensuring that no learner is left behind?

As the culmination of the Professional Learning Communities occurred on May 19, 2026, during the 2nd INSPIRE Forum, we recognize the hard work and innovation that led to the success of these projects.

This Cohort 2 of the Professional Learning Communities under INSPIRE produced 7 projects across the university. The projects aimed to further advance A.I. in education and in teaching and learning innovation. We sincerely appreciate and recognize these achievements, and we hope to collaborate further with the respective Schools and Departments.

INSPIRE Cohort 3 Information Session is here!

Join us as we begin another cycle of INSPIRE, the Innovation Network for Supporting Professional Integration of AI in Education, under the Mapúa Center for Teaching and Learning.

The Center for Teaching and Learning will help and guide prospective applicants of this program to enhance teaching practice, strengthen student engagement, and support professional growth through AI in education and Outcome-Based Education.
