The PUP Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office actively joined the coordination meeting with the 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝘃𝗮 𝗜𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮, the intended Resource Speaker for the event for the 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.

The meeting focused on aligning the program objectives, discussing key topics for the session, and ensuring that all preparations are in place for the successful conduct of the initiative. It also served as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among offices and partners in promoting inclusive, community-centered extension programs that advance gender equality and social inclusion.

In celebration of 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, we recognize and honor the identities and voices of the le***an individuals within our community. This week serves as an important reminder that visibility goes beyond acknowledgement as it should be about creating spaces where people are genuinely seen, heard, and valued.

We stand in solidarity with le***an communities in promoting equality, respect, and inclusive representation. Through this, we move closer to building an environment where diversity is embraced and every le***an individual can live authentically without fear and discrimination.

As we observe Le***an Visibility Week, may we foster a place exercising empathy, empowerment, and inclusion and work for a community where everyone is supported and celebrated.

ANNOUNCEMENT | APPROVED PURPLE UNIVERSITY PROJECT PROPOSALS 2026 💜

The PUP Gender Equity, Diversity, and Social Inclusion Office (GEDSI Office) is pleased to present the approved project proposals under the 2026 Purple University Project.

The approved initiatives encompass a broad range of programs and activities that promote gender sensitivity, inclusivity, mental health and well-being, accessibility, and the strengthening of safe spaces within the University. These efforts contribute to the institutionalization of Gender and Development (GAD) and GEDSI principles in alignment with national policies and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The GEDSI Office commends all proponents for their commitment to advancing a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusivity in the PUP community.

This initiative will empower Sintang Paaralan to become even more accessible and welcoming for all learners, regardless of ability.

By bringing together resources, communities, and advocates, we strengthen collective efforts to address gender-based challenges, promote equality, and ensure that every Juana is equipped with the knowledge, support, and opportunities she deserves.

Today, we celebrate 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑽𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 to remind that trans lives are real, valid, and deserving of respect every single day. Behind every identity is a story of courage and choosing to live authentically in a world that does not always make it easy.
