Our Dean, Dr. Marie Paz Castro, served as a panel speaker at the Women Lead Conference, organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, last March 19, 2026 at Dusit Thani Manila.

Congratulations to our partner, IFSE Culinary Institute, for obtaining the authorization to use the 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 trademark, the first school in Italy to receive this recognition.
For over 15 years, IFSE Culinary Institute has been recognized as a center of excellence in culinary education, holding distinctions from the Presidency of the Italian Republic, WorldChefs, and the Italian Chefs Federation (FIC).
IFSE now adds another achievement with the authorization to use the Italian Cuisine as a Heritage of Humanity trademark, reaffirming its commitment to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Italian gastronomy.
Benildeans attending IFSE will now receive certificates bearing the Italian Cuisine as a Heritage of Humanity trademark. As part of this recognition, they will also wear the official chef’s jacket featuring the logo, symbolizing their connection to the tradition, excellence, and global heritage of Italian cuisine.

IFSE has obtained the authorization to use the “Italian Cuisine Heritage of Humanity” mark from MASAF, the official symbol recognized by the Ministry that celebrates Italian cuisine as a unique cultural heritage worldwide—an acknowledgment achieved last December 10th.
Starting today, this distinction will be proudly worn on the jackets of IFSE teachers and students!

*TAGLAY: Digital Tourism Marketing Competition where Tourism students showcased proposals for the rebranding of the tourism identity of Naga City.
*The The Bucket List Family visited Benilde and gave a talk about their epic travels around the world with the Philippines being their 100th country destination.

LOOK: The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management opened its doors to future Benildeans at the Benilde Preview: Unplugged 2026, last March 7, 2026, at the Hotel Benilde and Angelo King International Center Campus.
Students were able to get a sneak peek of their college life, meet their future professors, visit their future laboratories, classrooms, and many more.
