Capping this year's conference is the launch of Felice Prudente Sta. Maria's "When Mangoes and Olives Met at the Philippine Table" published by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.
During the event, Sta. Maria donated a copy of her book to the Celso Al Carunungan Memorial Library of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, the host of this year's Manila Conference.

As part of her talk, the Manila Studies Association will also play host to the book relaunch of "When Mangoes & Olives Met at the Philippine Table" by one of our speakers, and esteemed food historian โ Felice Prudente Sta. Maria.
The book was published by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, and was first launched on 29 October 2025 at the NHCP Central Office in Manila.
The book will be available for sale during the conference.
