In 2008, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously declared April 2nd as World Autism Awareness Day to shed light on the importance of enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism, enabling them to fully participate in society. Each year, the UN selects a theme to guide reflections and actions on this significant day. This year, the focus is on the necessity of robust support systems and networks, especially during challenging times, to uphold the rights of the autism community to self-determination, independence, education, and employment on an equal basis with others.
For Manila High School Silahis ng Pagkakaisa SPED Center, we are committed to empower and support individuals living with autism. We believe that they can thrive in an inclusive society. Despite the current challenges and uncertainties, our dedication to build a community wherein people with autism may fully participate, contribute and succeed to their full potential.

Laban kaibigan!

โWhat makes you proud as a teacher?โ
โ - Sir. Greg Lawrence E. Alvarez ๐

Ang cool and kind teacher ng SPED Learners, Mrs. Roschelle M. Groce
โWhat makes you proud as a teacher?โ
โAs a SPED Teacher for the Deaf, it is indeed challenging at the same time fulfilling. Mabuhay tayong lahat.โ - Mrs. Roschelle M. Groce

Ang kind and charming teacher ng SPED Learners, Sir Paul Anthony B. Maquiling
โWhat makes you proud as a teacher?
โ - Sir. Paul Anthony B. Maquiling
