Here are the official uniforms for all programs in CGHC and the proper way of wearing it. Also, please keep in mind that all CGHCians must maintain proper grooming.

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴
• Proper hygiene must be observed when attending classes and reporting for duty. Everyone must report to the area clean and fresh looking. Strong perfumes are not allowed. Nails must be short and clean and without nail polish.
• Wearing of earrings and other jewelry is not allowed for both females and males in the clinical area. Simple jewelry is allowed in the classroom. Only females are allowed to wear earrings. Only one (1) pair of earring is allowed. Dangling earrings are not allowed.
• Observance of fashion trends (𝘦.𝘨. 𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘴, 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴, 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘪𝘭 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘩) which do not appear appropriate when worn with the school uniform, is not allowed for both females and males.
• For females on duty in clinical and community areas and laboratory, hair must not cover the eyes nor touch the uniform’s collar. Only black hair clips, hair tie or headbands are allowed. Long hair must be tied in bun. Light make-up is encouraged.
• For males, hair must be short so that it does not cover the eyes. Ears and nape must be exposed. Sporting moustache or beard is not allowed.

1. Clean and complete uniform with valid ID
2. For regular classroom lecture during Saturdays and Summer, students may opt to wear Type A or C uniform.
3. For other out-of-campus trainings/seminars, Type A or C uniform will be prescribed based on the venue and training/seminar.
4. Civilian/Casual Attire
• This allowed during Foundation Day and other special occasions with the approval of the Dean or authorized person.
• The attire must be modest and appropriate. The following casual attires are not allowed:
(1) all kinds of shorts and mini skirts
(2) torn jeans
(3) low cut blouses, midrib blouses, spaghetti-strapped blouses, and other unduly revealing outfits
(4) high-heeled footwear (more than 2 inches), slippers, clogs, and any other footwear which produces too much noise.

As a preventive measure against hepatitis B disease and as part of the enrollment requirements of Chinese General Hospital Colleges, new students are required to undergo hepatitis B vaccination. The Chinese General Hospital Colleges (CGHC) community mourn the passing of our Senior Executive Director Dr Tan King King on June 7, 2022.

Dr. Tan has faithfully served CGHC from 1989 until her retirement in 2021. She will be remembered as a dedicated leader and gracious mentor.

In loving memory, the family of Dr. Tan has founded the Dr. Tan King King Scholarship Grant to support indigent and deserving students of CGHC through tuition fee subsidy starting this academic year 2022-2023 onwards.

Thank you, Dr. Tan, for your life and contribution in making CGHC what it is today. You have been a blessing to us. We will miss you dearly.

A necrological service will be held in Sanctuarium (Chapel 101) at G. Araneta Ave., Quezon City on June 9, 2022 (6:00 pm).
