Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council relative to the forecasted continuous heavy rainfall due to Severe Tropical Storm “Kristine,” and to aid in the rescue and relief operations of the government, work in government offices and classes at all levels in Luzon are hereby suspended on 24 October 2024.

​Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services are hereby directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Further thereto, the localized cancellation or suspension of classes and/or work in government offices in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives, pursuant to relevant laws, rules and regulations.

​The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of their respective heads.

In response to recent cases of fake school IDs on campus, all EARISTians are reminded of the serious consequences of possessing counterfeit IDs, as outlined in the Student Handbook.

To address this issue and promote students' accountability, all colleges are required to implement their own strategies to aid the occurrence of fake IDs.

Compliance is expected to help cultivate responsible and law-abiding citizens within our EARIST community.

Please be guided accordingly.
